Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Youth & Government YMCA "Partners With Youth Campaign". I have chosen to volunteer for the YMCA because I believe that by supporting our young people and teaching them about government, civic responsiblity, and giving them hands on experience we are laying the foundation for a brighter future for us all. The YMCA is well known for the excellent work that they do to improve opportunities for youth as well as support to our communities.
When you give to our campaign, you’re helping to fund high quality hands on civic education, academic support for kids who struggle in school, and many other YMCA programs. Ninety-five cents of every dollar raised goes directly toward those programs,which we are able to do thanks to the support of many volunteers, and donors like you.
Your support of our 2009 "Partners With Youth Campaign" also helps us to acquire thousands of dollars from grant money, government funding and other matching gifts to make an even greater impact for those in need.
